Nope Days

Privacy Policy

Nope Days counts days without a habit you want to quit. Your habits and streaks stay on your phone — we don't have a server for them to go to. Here is exactly what we do process, why, and who we share it with.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Who the controller is

The controller is Top App, Rynek Główny 28, 31-010 Kraków, Poland, VAT ID PL6762666433 (“we”). For anything concerning your data, write to hello@topapp.pl — we answer within one month.

The short version

  • No account, no sign-in, no email. We don’t know who you are.
  • Habits, costs, dates, streaks and slips are stored only on your device (and in your own iCloud or Google backup). We never receive them.
  • We collect anonymous usage statistics and crash reports (Firebase) to see what works. No advertising identifiers, no ads, no selling data.
  • Nope Days Pro purchases are handled by Apple or Google, and subscription status by RevenueCat — under an anonymous identifier.
  • Erase everything in the app: Settings → Delete all data.

Data on your device

What you enter — habit names, the cost and time of one slip, start dates, streak history, notification settings — is stored locally. On iPhone the app also keeps a copy in your iCloud (key-value storage) so your data survives a new phone; on Android it is included in the system’s Google backup. These copies live in your Apple or Google account under their terms — we have no access to them.

What we process

Anonymous usage statistics

The app uses Firebase Analytics (Google). It sends events such as: onboarding finished, habit added (the preset type, not a name you typed), slip with the streak length, milestone reached, Pro screen opened, purchase. With them Google receives technical data: a random installation identifier, device model, OS and app version, language and approximate country. We have turned off collection of the advertising identifier, ad-personalisation signals and automatic screen reporting.

Crash reports

Firebase Crashlytics (Google) sends a technical report when the app crashes (e.g. device model, OS and app version, the error trace).

Remote configuration

Firebase Remote Config downloads app settings (e.g. turning a feature on). It does not send your in-app data.

Purchases

Payment for Nope Days Pro is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — we never see card or account details. The app uses RevenueCat, which checks the store’s purchase confirmation to tell whether you have Pro. RevenueCat stores a random, anonymous user identifier, transaction history (product, date, price, store country) and technical device data.

Notifications

Milestone notifications are local — your phone schedules them, not our server. They are optional; turn them off in the app or in system settings.

Why, and on what legal basis

  • Purchases and Pro verification — performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Usage statistics, crash reports, remote configuration — our legitimate interest in improving and running a working app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who we share it with

  • Google (Firebase) (USA) — statistics, crash reports, remote configuration. The transfer to the USA relies on Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • RevenueCat (USA) — subscriptions and purchases. The transfer to the USA relies on Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Apple and Google — payments and the backups in your account, under their own privacy terms.

We do not sell data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or track you across apps.

How long we keep it

Data on your device — until you delete it or uninstall the app (iCloud / Google backups until you remove them from your account). Firebase statistics — up to 14 months. Crash reports — up to 90 days. RevenueCat and the stores keep transaction history for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

How to erase your data

In the app: Settings → Delete all data. It removes all habits and history from your phone and from the iCloud copy. Statistics and crash reports are not linked to your identity; if you want them erased, write to hello@topapp.pl. Deleting your data or the app does not cancel a subscription — do that in your store settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to hello@topapp.pl. Because we don’t know who you are, most of your data (the data on your phone) is fully under your control in the app. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland — or with the authority in your own country of residence.

Children

Nope Days is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly process children’s data.

Changes

We will announce material changes in the app before they take effect. The date of the last update is at the top of this page.
